This policy applies solely to the internal tool "Maison Douce — Offres J5," administered by Maison Douce & Compagnie. It is not offered as a service to the shop's customers.
Data and purposes
The tool accesses business information necessary for promotions: identifiers and discount codes, percentages, conditions, dates, time zones, approval statuses, and Google destinations. This data is used to verify actual conditions in Shopify, renew authorized offers, synchronize their presentation, and control their transmission to Merchant Center.
The Shopify connection is limited to discounts. The program does not request any access to orders, customer profiles, or payments, and it does not modify Google Ads campaigns.
Services used and access
The program runs within the owner's private Google Apps Script project. Login credentials, technical tracking, and logs are kept within the project's private properties and in the shop's tracking data according to their function. Administrative secrets are not embedded in the site's public code. Shopify receives discount updates; Google receives promotion information intended for Merchant Center.
Google Merchant API authorization allows for the management of product listings and accounts; the program is limited to the shop's Merchant Center account, promotions, and their data source. It does not sell or use this information for its own advertising purposes.
Retention and control
Technical logs are limited in the number of entries; configuration information and the latest confirmations remain stored as long as the tool is in use or until deleted by the administrator. The owner can suspend renewal, revoke Google access in their account, and uninstall the Shopify connection. Stopping renewal does not shorten a business validity already confirmed.
