Maison Douce advice

On a solid-colored wall, leave some space around Luppa to highlight its play of colors.

What makes the difference

Start with the room's colours

Choose a combination that repeats a shade already found in a cushion, frame or piece of furniture. On a plain wall, Luppa's play of colours becomes a focal point.

Check the chosen composition

Choose the colour pairing in the selector; the lighting is warm white. Check the composition in the cart.

Let the composition breathe

Avoid surrounding the wall light with too many objects if you want to highlight its retro style.

A pendant light, at the right height

Guidelines for preparing the installation of a pendant light or chandelier.

  1. Prepare the location

Choose the height and mark the bracket. Before any electrical work, switch off the power at the main panel and verify that there is no voltage.

  2. Secure and connect

The weight must be supported by a suitable ceiling fixture. Follow the instructions for securing the light fitting and connecting it to the power supply.

  3. Finish, then turn on

Close the ceiling canopy and install the bulb if the model requires one. Check that everything is secure before turning the power back on.

A well-prepared ceiling

Ceiling lights and spotlights: understanding the key steps before you begin.

  1. Identify the installation type

Surface-mounted ceiling light, recessed spotlight, or track lighting: check the mounting surface and the required clearance according to the instructions. Turn off the power and verify that there is no voltage.

  2. Install the mount

Attach the mounting plate or bracket designed for your model. The connection and positioning of the power supply unit must follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

  3. Close and verify

Select any necessary internal settings before closing. Put the body or the diffuser in place, check the attachment, then test the lighting.

Light takes its place on the wall

Wired, plug-in or rechargeable: the installation depends on your wall light.

  1. Prepare for installation

Identify your version's power supply and choose its height. For a wall-mounted light, turn off the power and verify that there is no voltage.

  2. Put down the stand.

Wall mounting: follow the instructions for the base. Plug-in night light: use a compatible socket. A magnetic module does not guarantee a drill-free installation.

  3. Commission

Install the wall lamp body. Hardwired: follow the instructions with an electrician. Plug-in or rechargeable: plug in or charge according to your version, then test.

Prepare the pieces, assemble the silhouette, and find its place in the room.

  1. Prepare the items

With the lamp unplugged, place the parts on a protected surface. Identify the base, the mast sections, and the lampshade in the instructions.

  2. Assemble the structure

Assemble the structure without pinching or twisting the cable. Install any light bulbs and the lampshade or globes in the order specified in the instructions.

  3. Check stability

Place the floor lamp on a stable surface, keep the cable out of the way, and then put it into service according to the instructions.

  1. Choose its place

Stable surface, screen clamp or bottle holder: check the location and compatibility for your model. Unpack the parts on a protected surface.

  2. Assemble and power on

Assemble the base or the lampshade if necessary. Use the plug, USB power supply, or charger indicated for your version, with a compatible bulb if required.

  3. Discover the commands

Turn on the lamp and try out the intended controls. Adjust its orientation and the available settings for your reading or ambiance.

A pose that prepares for comfort

The support, the space around the blades, and the assembly are checked together.

  1. Have the ceiling checked.

A professional will check the mounting, power supply, height, and blade clearance for your model. The support must be suitable for a moving device.

  2. Follow the assembly instructions

For a standard installation, assemble the parts in the order indicated in the instructions. For an E27 model, follow its specific instructions after verifying the socket and the support. Any electrical work must be performed with the power off, after verifying that there is no voltage.

  3. Check the operation

After mounting and connection, the installer checks the stability and operation. Test the controls and the lighting if your version is equipped with it.

Get ready for your nights out

Two paths to distinguish: solar lighting or a grid-connected installation.

  1. Choose the location

Check the authorized exposure for the lighting fixture. For a solar model, the panel must receive sufficient sunlight; for a hardwired model, have the power supply checked.

  2. Ask according to your version

Fix or install the solar model according to its instructions. For a wired version, entrust the mounting and connection to an electrician, ensuring the power is off and the required waterproofing is applied.

  3. Adjust and observe

Solar: activate the intended mode, let it charge, then check after nightfall. Wired: test after installation and adjust the sensor only if your model has one.
